    - Print report from database? On an intranet site, I have an Access database with some web pages to display, add, modify, or delete a record using a Frontpage database connection. The database contains a report. Is there a way to print the report from a web page? What I'm looking for is a button on a web page that's the equivalent of opening the database in Access, selecting the report, and clicking Print on the File menu.     - Drop down boxes I viewed the answers to other posted questions regarding drop down boxes in FP2003.     - 2003 Front Page photo errors I am redoing my website in Front Page 2003. I have used the web component feature to redo the photo page. I took the photo's that were already on the webpage, and added them to web components to make a slide show and use the thumbnail capability. Everything looks good in the design page, and when I check it in multiple browsers, but when I look at it on the actual website, the pictures are all missing. Hovering over the boxes gives the caption, but not the picture. What am I doing wrong? My pictures are in a separate folder within the website, and I also tried to copy them to the photogallery folder itself, and neither works. On the design page, about 6 thumbnail photos show up with an arrow on each side for scrolling. On the actual web page, all the thumbnails are in a row and you need to use the bottom slider to get to the end of the long row and then the back arrow. Any way to fix that?     - Files on the Desktop Hi, another question I am afraid. I have created a Dynamic Web Template from an existing page in a website and have set the editable regions. Now, whenever I update the DWT, and update all attached pages, I am left with .htm files and associated folder on my desktop. Why is this, and I how to I set my settings to cure this?     - Importing Multimedia Files I tried to import multimedia files into FP2000, but get a vague message: "An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site. WebMasters - please see the server's system log for more details." The microsoft kb has the error message, but their example doesn't cover my situation. Problem is, now the disk based web won't publish up to the server. I get "the server timed out" after a couple minutes. My server "Accuwebhosting.com" says they can publish a test page just fine, and so, I am left without a way to proceed. I am stuck. Can someone please help?     - Truncating dates on active server pages I use active server pages in Front Page, in conjunction with Access. I am using a custom format for dates, "mmm dd", which is supposed to display March 1, 2005 as Mar 01. This works fine "off-line" in Access on reports. But on my website, which reads the dates from a database, the format is 03/01/2005. I like the mmm dd format much better--easier to read, less space used, and while I want the year in the database I don't need it displayed on the web page.     - Want to have picture open on a seperate page? I have a webpage that contains a number of pictures. The pictures on this page are thumbnails. Currently when a visitor clicks on the thumbnail it opens up a new page replacing the gallery page and the user must hit the back button to return to the thumbnails.     - SDK example InitCaps confusion Hi -- trying to program my first FP2003 web component and I'm very confused. I'm not using FPSE or anything fancy, just FTP. Referring to the FP2002 SDK I looked at the Initcaps example. I put that into the _vti_bin directory of my web, recalculated hyperlinks, and inserted the webcomponent as described in the manual. I chopped out the preview paramter from the webbot tag so I can monitor what I'm looking at. In frontpage, it always shows [SmallCaps]. When I upload over FTP it says [Frontpage SmallCaps Component]. I even tried some programs of my own, followed the examples, and the ret.Append("Some sample text") doesn't show up like in the SDK examples.. I dont understand what I'm missing here. The built-in components like Navigation render properly in frontpage, and when they're uploaded via FTP they're static.     - Deployed Support Hey Im a marine with MSSG31. We push out updates for our website but the thing is, when you open the updated website, it will bring up cached files. And you have to clear your temporary files then refresh in order for the webpage to load. Now I know that you have to clear your temporary internet files and hit refresh, but the common marine mom does not. So she just look at the page and thinks its not updated. Hi: I am going to replace the current primary drive with a new HDD and to perform a clean installation of Windows XP Pro because the current environment is getting slower and some components are messed up with different installation, removal, and updates of applications, Windows service packs, patches, and development packages. By saying development environment, it was referred to things such as FrontPage Extension, SharePoint Team Service, SDK, Starter Kits, database, database components, and/or any other components that will be required to develop web applications. By saying applications, it was referred to applications such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Office, and so on. I understand that some development components also come with applications and it might be updated when the application is being installed and updated. Edit the guestlog.htm file (usually in the _private folder)
