    - CCS Working in FrontPage but NOT in IE??? I have created a button for one of my web pages that uses both CSS and a small graphic. It works as expected in the FrontPage 2003 preview view, but when I view it in IE it doesn't display the same. It omits a small graphic that is included in the button. How can this be that FrontPage previews it properly but IE doesn't? Any fixes? I have saved the web page in question before attempting to preview in IE. Please help!     - FrontPage and ImageReady Rollovers Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to add a top shared border with working ImageReady rollover buttons to a Frontpage web? I've created one where the rollover effects seems to function just fine in the top shared border file itself, but not when the top border file is viewed with the Index (or any of the other pages).     - Form name being changed automatically by FrontPage when saving! I recently noticed that when I save a file in FrontPage 2003 the form name I gave it was automatically being overwritten with "FrontPage_Form1" - see example below: This was how I saved it: <FORM name="frmAdminUserPass" id="frmAdminUserPass" method="post" action="userpassupdate.asp?save=admin"> When I opened the page again this is what it had been changed to: <FORM name="FrontPage_Form1" id="frmAdminUserPass" method="post" action="userpassupdate.asp?save=admin"> Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can stop it.     - web pages won't display on local host I am designing a website for my company. All has been fine until the other day when I checked the website view on our server and it didn't display any of the changes I hade made over the last several weeks. The changes appear correctly viewing on the local and remote view in Front page but when I go to run and type in the address to view on our server just the old site appears. So that once the language is choosen, the user can navigate in their own language. For the moment I have for each language to change the header footer, left pan etc...     - Form data not saved to existing database I've got an existing Access database that works fine with an existing form. I added a new table to the database and then created a new form. I matched the form fields to the fields in the database table and then published the site. When I enter data with the browser I get the confirmation page, but no data is actually entered in the table. The more I play with forms the more I'm seeing that the only way to every get them to work is create the form first and then let FP create the database. Nothing else ever seems to work.     - New HTA- are Iframes the answer? Hi! OK, I admit it, I am a newbie coder but very much a techie generalist. If you keep it to a medium level, I will probably understand you. Even links would be useful. I have undertaken the task of creating an HTA application in Front Page out of about 60 movies rendered by Camtasia Studio and protected by MS DRM. The rendering converts the movies from AVI to WMV, and creates a graphical index of each movie using jscript in an HTML based file, with an imbedded Windows Media Player. Guess what? HTA conversion on the Front Page shell I'm building is NOT causing a problem with the usability and viewing of these pages within the HTA main window!!! YIPPEE! What I cannot seem to do is add the necessary browser/page navigation controls to the movie htm file in order to go back to the prior list of movies. In this situation, the user would have to close the application then restart it to navigate to a different movie. Not really the "user experience" I want. So is this the case for an IFrame? (whattever that is) I want the GUI to look non-browser, which is why I used the NAVIGABLE property of HTA:APPLICATION One other thing- I can display any Adobe PDF's I want, as long as I don't want to display them in my HTA main window. I just get the horrible goobletygook that tells me something is very very wrong. However, I can use the context menu and display in a new window (with all the associated browser warnings).     - Streaming media Further arlier post I have installed the windows media player plug in into Frontpage. I find this is an entirely satisfactory way to get most website viewers listening to music on the site. I do have a problem with it though, in that when I go through the wizard it embeds the player (invisibly in this case as I don't need it for video) but as a cell of rather large proportions which I can't resize down to nothing. Better still if I don't actually need to have window for it at all, so that it can play away in the background with no visual effect. As the invisible cell can't be written over it leaves a large vacant hole in the page which can't be used for anything else.     - Error when trying to make a web I'm using FP2000. I'm running Win2000 Some of my webs run fine when I browse with IE6 with the address http://localhost/test for example. But now when I try to make a web at http://localhost/newtest I get an error saying that "The web server at http://localhost does not appear to have the Frontpage server extensions installed. I had to reinstall office before so this probably messed it up.     - Database doesn't work Hi to all, Can anyone help me out with the following,; I created a website locally with a msAccess database stored in /FPDB within the website, and some DBresultpages to get the data displayed. It all works fine, local that is. Now according to my ISP i have to FTP the site to my domain and it should work, ASP is enabled on the server. However, when i open up an DBRpage (with .asp ext.) i keep getting the following message: GROEP Database Results Wizard Error The operation failed. If this continues, please contact your server administrator. So i contacted my ISP and he resetted my account, (things like this have always worked b4) I also browsed the microsoft website for this and can't seem to get it working In my opinion something must be 'wrong' with the global.asa file and/or the files in the _fpclass dir. My ISP doesn't seem to be competent enough to help me out, maybe anyone around here knows a solution for this.     - Upgrade from IIS 4.0 to IIS 6.0 Changed FrontPage actions. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I don't see a Frontpage.General so I'll give it a try. Our intranet server (NT 4.0 + IIS 4.0)died a while ago and we decided it was tiem to upgrade it. We built the new server with Windows Server 2003 + IIS 6.0 with all the latest updates. We kept the Server name and the IP address the same as the old server. We copied the contents of the old web to the wwwroot folder and everything came up ok. The only complaint I am getting from the group that updates the intranet pages, is they are being asked to 'save as' once they make their updates. I guess they use IE to browse to the page they want to edit then they click the FrontPage 2003 button to edit it. Once they are finished editing the page, they click the save button in Frontpage and it asks them to 'Save As' instead of just saving it. If they open the web directly from frontpage it works fine.     - Going in circles with 2 errors What i'm trying to do: I want to be able to search database result with a form entery. What goes wrong: When I insert the database results I have no problem, however, when I change the query (that works in access) it gives me an error as follows; Database Results Error Your page contains a query with user input parameters that could not be resolved. Hi, I'm building a website with an Access database, since i can't seem to figure out how to point to a DSN ( i got that from my provider) in frontpage, i'm afraid i'll have to use the folder FPDB and let frontpage automatically create the 'global.asa'. It works, i can "FTP" the site from local to my Int.domain. My question is, How safe or secured is my .mdb file in that folder? entered back down to the first.
My guestlog puts the latest entry at the bottom of the entries instead of
the top.
Any help??

Right click anywhere in the form and choose Form Properties.
Click Options button
On File Results tag, clear the checkbox "Latest results at end"
Click OK, OK

This will not change any existing posts in the guestbook, only any new
posts.
