I've tried reading through all the posts before asking
this, but didn't find an answer, so I'll try asking. I
made a discussion web on FP2000, and worked for a few
days, but the TOC does not seem to update, and it seems
from time to time the bullets in the welcome screen get
right aligned for some strange reason. I can usually fix
that by changing the alignment, but it's odd that it does
that. The most annoying thing is though that I lose the
messages. They are still on the server, but the TOC will
not update. The server I use has the 2002 extentions
installed, but confused on how to correct this. I don't
have the discussion web listed as a subweb, it sits in
the main root directory. Thanks in advance for any help

Try putting it in a subweb
When you publish the root it will overwrite the tocproto.htm removing prior message threads

Ok, then how do I link it in the navigation? It doesn't
seem to want to do it. I upgraded to 2003. Thanks for
your help.

What doesn't do what?
Did you create a new DW subweb
- subwebs are linked in nav view as external links (right click for that option)
