    - How do I put Access 2000 reports onto a web site I have a database with complex reports (graphs, boxes and lines, subforms, etc) which users want to run, convert into something usable on the web and put on a web site. They don't want the database on the web yet (later on this year - that's another project I will need help with then) but they want to select parameters, generate reports, then put the reports on the web site. Or even better, have the web site look at the database, choose the paramteres, and create the reports on the fly. The critical part is that they HAVE to look the same as they do now.     - Folders view problem I am new to FrontPage 2002 and working with the book Step by Step. The view of the web files in folders view shows no information or titles under "Contents of C:\XXXX". The book shows a picture that displays the contents of the Web site in Folders view. I have no information there except little squares. I have tried openning my own web page and I get the same view.     - Using Database result in form I have a quick question from a Newbie. I would like to use a value returned from a database query as a variable in a form. Here's the scenario: I query the database to find the highest value for my record [Select RequestNumber from Results Where Key= (Select Max(key) From Results)]. That gives me a result called RequestNumber which I would then like to increment and use as a variable when I add a new record. Namely RequestNumber + 1 would be the next record to add.     - discussion group "framed" page i've created a discussion group on my page using FP2002. everything seems to work fine except for the contents page which i think is a "framed" page. on the web page, when i click on the contents page it opens a small section (frame) at the top and above the previous page and I can't get rid of it by clicking on any other link. It just stays there at the top of every page. How do I get this "framed" page to un-frame or how do i create a link that will open the rest of my pages without this "framed" page?     - photogallery display problems Greetings all; I created a website (www.geocities.com/barbbrahmstedt) using Frontpage 2002 that contains several photogalleries on different pages. The site was working perfectly - displaying all thumbnails as expected and displaying enlargements as expected - until I recently rebuilt the entire site. During the rebuild I deleted all files from the ftp server and then copied all new fles from the new site back to the server. Since then, the pages will load okay and all picture that are not part of a photogallery display properly but the photogalleries are not functioning. The first picture in the gallery (slideshow format) shows up in the enlargement space but none of the thumbnails appear. Clicking on the thumbnail placeholders will not change the enlarged image. I noticed that when I developed my original site I had files called Thumbs.db scattered throughout the site. With this new build, these files were not generated. A year has passed since I originally built the site so there's probably something I'm just forgetting to do but I'll be darned if I can figure out what!     - Creating Templates and Updating Navigation Bars I'm creating a new web from scratch and I'm running into some problems. The website I have created will be 4 levels + the homepage. I have created my own templates for each page and the homepage. Each page has basic information in the left nav bar that will change every 6-8 months. When I update my nav bars, I want to only update one page. In Dreamweaver, I use to update only my server side include page and every page that had a server side include would update. I know MF2002 must have a tool similar to Dreamweavers SSI. I was told by one individual that I should create my template, and just "Insert/File" into a blank page and this would solve my problem.     - server When I open a web from within Frontpage then do Tools / Web Settings the Server version: is "No server currently in use." What does it take to start a server from within FrontPage? I have found that if I open a Web in from inside of IIS using the "All tasks" then "Open with Frontpage" the server appears to be loaded. But now, when I open frontpage this way from within IIS, it finds the correct default.htm but is current in the wrong directory. As such all of the other components of my web are not visible in the FrontPage Folder list. If I use File / Open etc. to get the correct directory established then the IIS server is no longer loaded.     - FP2000; Forms Hello, I'm running FP2000 and have no problem creating a form. My problem is trying to send the completed web to the off site server. They have already told me they ARE running FPSE. When I look at the code I see a grayed area. By default FP is always inserting the local file name in the place where the file should be on the off site server. I reported earlier not being able to access Frontpage's
database functions. Evidently, there is a problem with
the ODBC library. I received this message:

Server error: The Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)
library is not available on the Web server.

Another message: No acceptable external database drivers
were located. You will be unable to continue.

I'm using FrontPage 2002 with Windows XP Home. I've
checked my installation components and don't think I'm
missing anything. Any ideas on how to fix this?

XP home does not have a web server, which is a requirement for asp /
database interaction.
Have you tried the same thing on your hosted server?
