    - excel and front page I'm having a hell-of-a-time geting an excel program to interactively work properly on front page. The program has combo boxes, comment boxes and protected cells. The boxes do not show up and I have to unprotect the program in order to get it on the web (leaving critical cells left unprotected).     - FP200 table (ie. grid) manipulation using VBA Hello everyone, I've been manually updating a table on my FP2000 page and now I'm trying to write some VBA which I can execute with a Macro button. At the moment I do the following tasks: 1. Paste the table from Excel onto my FP page. 2. Delete the hidden columns that re-appear when the table is pasted in FP. 3. Highlight several columns one at time and click the right-align button. 4. Highlight the whole table, click the Table properties and apply a .gif background. 5. Click to format button and change the text to white, bold, size 10 (my .gif background is a green grass kind of thing!). A Macro recorder would be a dream for this, but it isn't available in FP :-( Clearly, task 1. can be automated! My research has enabled me (on a test page) to use the CommandBars() object and highlight the test grid I created and make the backgound turn red (as a test). A small step, but I see no way of applying my .gif file to the background. Also, I'm slightly at a loss to how I go about creating the VBA to do the above list of tasks, as a lot is done via dialogue boxes. Sample VBA code for table manipulation seems to be thin on the ground. Can anyone give me some pointers, some ideas, some literature on how to automate my tasks. Much appreciated.     - Front page and Outlook calendar Outlook allows you to create a web page of your calendar. During this process, outlook also creates some Java Script. If you load the created web page onto my web site by itslef (not within any frame), the NextMonth button (arrow to the right of the month text) works fine. But, if I but it into a frame, the Java script adds a single character before the calendar file name. So IE displays an error that the file can't be found. This is easily reproducable.     - Frontpage 2003 Default script problem I'm running FrontPage 2003 and would like the default setting for the script language for any of the site wizards to be vbscript. The site always defaults to JavaScript with a bunch of resulting code in such when a site wizard is run. How do you change the default site script language before the site is created? Once the wizard starts, there is no control over the default script language until all of questions are answered. It defaults to JavaScript even when a parent site is changed to vbscript beforehand.     - Line spacing?? Hello: I have just started playing with frontpage and am confused as to what happened. I was typing some text and had a normal spacing between lines. After a lot of text was input i started getting what appeared to be double spaced type. I checked the format paragraph and the line spacing is set to single. Any time i hit return while typing, the next line ocuurs at a spacing of about 2 lines down. When I make a link by going to the hyperlink icon it leaves the www off in the URL. Am I creating the links the proper way, what should I be doing different? With your web and a page open in FrontPage,
click Tools > Page options and then click the Compatibility tab.
Set all of the drop downs to Custom.
Then click OK
