    - animated gif display problem I have a FP 2000 web site. I added a small animated gif which displays fine when I preview it but when I publish the web.. nothing is there. I tried it on another system and I could see it fine. I though it might be my Norton Internet Security blocking it but I disabled it and still no luck. I also checked IE to make sure "play web page animations" was selected and it was. Is this a problem in IE 6 or is it something I did wrong on my site. Any ideas? Thanks all..     - database question first i want to say thanks for answering my questions when i post them u guys are great!! heres the question... i made a form page and sent results to a fp database which i created through the wizard. it spit back the name new_page_4.mdb and put it in the fpdb folder. When i try to open it access starts to load, then i get this error: "Unrecognized database format C:\Documents and settings\Owner\MyDocuments/WeAreColumbia\fpdb\new_page_4.mdb I have access 97 installed.     - Deleting files with ASP Hi, I am using FP 2000 on IIS4/NT. I have an asp script that creates some files from a database. It writes from a private subfolder ( _folder) to a subfolder of the private subfolder ( _folder/folder). It will work once, but once the files are in there, I can't run the script again and overwrite them. I get a "permission denied" error. If I go in and manually delete the files, it will work again. Neither the programmer or my ISP can figure out what is wrong. The only other thing I can think of is a FrontPage quirk. Does anyone have any ideas on this?     - formatting cells Formatting cells and tables compared to regular tables. When I add a formatting cell it saves any borders or shading, corners as a gif.     - Improper Display In IE6 and FP2002 I am using Win XP Pro and Frontpage 2002. The preview pane of Frontpage, as well as IE6 display of a web site does not agree with the display shown in the normal view of these pages. Netscape 7 displays these properly.     - Buttons I am using FP2003 and it has some fairly nice buttons, LOL, but I can make better, which is not the problem to add to Buttons folder.     - Distribute Web on CD I'm attempting to copy my web site from my home computer to the office. I've followed the commands to use a CD creator program to copy the hard disk to CD and then use xcopy to load to my work computer. I can't seem to get it to work.     - Images stretched/squished in slideshow I am using java script for slideshow, but FP fixes the frame size to that of the first image, so all subsequent images not having the same size are stretched or squished.     - Still getting an error trying to connect to Access DB on web I posted this message several days ago and someone suggested that the error was because someone else had the db open exclusively. That's not the case here, since I'm the only one currently using this db. I'm hoping someone might have some other ideas about what might be going on.     - navigation bar I am trying to sell a service on the Net (12 pages of documentation). I have used FrontPage 2000 to create my web. Everything was OK until I realized the following: My web has got only 2 levels: The Home page on the first and all the other pages on to a second level. Obviously, the Home page contains the hyperkinks to the other pages. On the Home page, I created a "pay button" downloaded from the net to process a one off payment and then re- direct the visitor on to the second page to start surfing my web. But, I have just realized that on the navigation bar every page contains a link back to the Home page. which means that any visitor who, after having paid, would hit the Home button would have to pay again to visit the site.     - Can't get "file upload" in FP form to work - can't change "folder properties" for upload That was my problem and I discovered there is no solution for the remote host I have my web hosted on. I have since discovered this is a common problem labeled many ways in this forum. This is my effort to give it an easily identifiable subject for someone else like me to readily find. 1. If you can't get your files to upload from the form, first check that you have changed the properties on the target folder to permit it. 2. If you are like most of us, using a remote server with FrontPage extensions on their "Apache Server" you are out of luck with no work-around - unless you move to a different non-Apache server.     - A question with no answer? (upload from form) The Question: How do you get a upload form to work? Many people in several MS Newsgroups have asked this question, but none have seemed to recieve an answer.     - Securely pass user information to windows media server I have a forum that requires users to login. Inside I have links to video on a windows media server. I don't want people to be able to copy those links and access the file directly. So I want to create a machine user account that has access to the files. Right click on the image and select "save picture as"
