The menu's drop down list takes the user to the various sub sites as well as sub-sub sites.     - layer problem I made a correction to a page in an exisiting web site and added a layer to it. Inside the layer, I placed a series of pictures in a table. Now the layer and pictures appear on all pages in the Web site. I've tried to delete the layer from the individual pages and save them.     - data1prm.msi FP2000 I tried to use the help text today and got a message from the windows installer looking for data1prm.msi which seems to be part of office 2000. All of my components in Office 2000 seem to be working ok including the help texts. I looked on the distribution cds for FP and also Office 2K but did not find any data1prm.msi files.     - Using CSS I am just starting to look into CSS. I have used a css sheet to add a fixed background image to the related .HTL using background fixed, no-repeat etc. I now want to add another graphic on top of the existing background image and locate it fixed at the bottom right corner. I thought that I could simply call a second background image and locate it in the bottom LH corner but it doesn't work - I simply get either the full screen background image OR the small logo image in the bottom corner depending on the order in the CSS. I want these two images to feature on all pages of the site and I thought that I could do it with CSS. I ca nmake it work putting the full screen background image in the CSS and the bottom corner logo in each .HTM page but I was hoping to simplify things. Any advice will be greatly appeciated.     - Shadow for a thumbnail... Probably the easiest question of the day. I want my thumbnails to appear like they cast a slight shadow on the page. The help tool tells me that I should only have to select the image, and then the Shadow button on the drawing toolbar. I have tried this several times but everytime I select anything, not just the image, the Shadow button the Drawing toolbar remains greyed out. BTW, I'm using Frontpage 2003. Any ideas?     - Catalog I have built some ordinary FrontPage sites. I have a question for anyone with a "bright" idea. It is probably too simple for me to see. I have FP2000 and plan on getting 2003 soon. Operating system Xp Pro w/ office 2003, Publisher 2003, MS Digital Imaging Pro I have a 60 page catalogue of parts with a price index. Any ideas on how to just scan and "present" the catalogue as pages with minimum work? It would be nice if all I had to do was create a general category index with links to pages.     - File Upload confirmation in wrong frame I've used frontpage 2003 (insert, form, file upload) to create a form to enable a file upload. The form is then placed on the 'main' frame of a 'banner and contents' frame page. The file upload work successfully but the confirmation message shows in the 'contents' frame.     - Database table add record form w/DD - not working I'm trying to add a new record an Access DB table with one of the fields containing a 'link' vale to a record in another table. I'm using a DD list from which to select the 'linked' record (a Client name table which as unique ref field as autonumber).     - Custom Queries I have a number of different custom queries that I need to do on an SQL Server database. I'm doing a custom query because it appears that the UI can't do what I need (I need to do some JOINS). For the life of me, I can't get the syntax right in the custom query window.     - Some items remain unmatched after publishing I just made a few changes in the local copy of my website and published it using FP 2003. Everything seem to have gone OK and the changes were made. However, now when I compare the two sites with FP, some of the items are still marked as unmatched. Should I worry about that?     - Accessing a SQL Server View in an Data View I have created a data view in the past which returned information from a specific SQL Server table. I'd like to create a data view that returns information from a specific SQL View. When I go to create a data view and I look at the list of Tables, views or stored procedures, I only see stored procedures and tables. All of the items are listed as type "table or view". But I only see tables there. I originally thought I had a permissions issue, so I tried it as sa and that didn't change anything either. Is there something on my SQL Server that I need to change?     - navigation bars from frames page Someone was kind enough to answer my question, but the suggested work-around did not work. I have a page with three frames, including a banner target page. I'm trying to put a navigation bar on this banner page, but was told that FrontPage will not allow it. The responder suggested entering the words I want to use, inserting a hyperlink to them, and that would solve the problem as a work-around. I tried this, and the same thing happens. The page I'm hyperlinking to opens in one of the three frames which are on the page which I originally set up. But, I can't get back to the home page, I'm trying to open as a full page display.     - onsubmit Hi, Is it possiable to control the onsubmit function in VBScript? For example, I have a form with only one check box. I like to verify the check box on checked before to send the email out. If the check box do not check, display the message to user.     - Hyperlink to a specific graphic on a different page On page 1 I have a graphic (bmp) listing places to visit on page 2. Page 2 contains 4 layers each which have a table inside. The top cell of each table is a graphic (bmp) that has the shows the topic of that particular table. How do I hotspot/hyperlink from the graphic on page 1 to a specific graphic on page 2?     - Hyperlinks don't work after publishing. I'm new to FrontPage and Web stuff in general. I've noticed about 1,000 people have just repeated posts for help with things like "How to get rid of underlining on hyperlinks." I can actually do a lot of that stuff because I've worked hard at reading up all I could about FrontPage and hyperlinks and such. SO, if I repeat this question, it certainly isn't my intention. Without furter ado... I cannot make any links work, whether external or even linking pages within my site. I can go in between pages when I'm in Design view, by CTRL+mouse click.     - Detecting the proper reply email address in a form I've have a bit of experience with forms, but now that I want to use an autoresponder with my new form I'm having a bit of a problem. The autoresponder is detecting the webhost server address instead of the subscriber's email address in the form. What do I change where to correct this? Side note: when I save the form I get a message that says the form won't email the results, but I know it will, so I click the ignore button and save anyway. The users are using Windows XP, the webserver is on Windows Server 2003. Now, because of the quantity of users, the website policy is anonymous. This means that users do not login to the website.     - Frontpage seems to be slow I am teaching myself how to develop a website with Frontpage using the tutorials and have built a website at www.sollert.com/Beta I used the display tables to place cells at the appropriate places on the page and inserted the buttons and jpegs into the cells I have noticed that on downloading with IE , the various buttons load slowly enough to see the placeholders before the image drops onto them. I have some pages that contain DRW Result and want to organize it by putting it together in folder 'member', but when I put DRW result pages in to member folder, this message error occur: Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0131' Disallowed Parent Path /logon/post.asp, line 490 The Include file '../_fpclass/fpdbform.inc' cannot contain '..' to indicate the parent directory.     - frontpage inserts </form> by itself I have a form starting with: <form method='get' action'page.asp'> and then quite a bit of code and then </form> But now, when I save the file, FP insert </form> right after starting the form thus ending it immidiatly.
