A long established FrontPage web site wont open. I'm getting a no files in
folder message, but I see the files in the OPEN box and in the folder from MY
COMPUTER. My remote web site is fine and still working for my users. Why
can't FrontPage find the folders?

Close FrontPage
Run regedit and go here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Settings

In the right hand panel, right click on: Folder DetailColumns
and select Delete.
Close regedit.

Then:
Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner ( with Expression Web and
SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

See if it helps.
