Howdy.
This is normal for a subsite, but Cut, Copy, and Rename
ought to work for an ordinary folder.
I presume, therefore, that we're actually talking about a
subsite. In that case:
1. Open the subsite.
2. Publish it to a new name. For example, publish
/aardvarx/ to /aardvarks/.
3. Open the parent Web that contains the original,
wrongly-named subsite.
4. Right-click the wrongly-named subsite and select
Convert To Folder.
5. Delete the wrongly-named folder.
Alternatively, you can:
1. Right-click the wrongly-named subsite and select
Convert To Folder.
2. Rename the folder.
3. Right-click the renamed folder and choose Convert To
Web.
This, however, will discard any Themes, Navigation Views,
Database Connections, or other settings that FrontPage
stores at the subsite level.
It may also help to take a small screwdriver, pry off your
Caps Lock key, and throw it away.
