    - Incomplete Search Results On our intranet, I have added one more folder in the index server to search. The build-in query works great and searches the files under this new folder.     - Multiple displays I am having problems when viewing my website in different displays. It looks perfectly fine in 1024 x 768. When I view it in 700 x 600 I need to scroll right and left to view the whole page. The issue is that whenever I publish changes to the site, I am told that files on the server do not exist on my computer, and do I want to remove the files on the remote site.     - Frames Can anyone give me a few pointers on using frames? I have read the Front Page 2002 Bible and thought I had a simple split frame set up correctly but when I click on a hover button in the top frame (using it as a navigation bar), it gives me a "page not found" error.     - border on Shared Borders I have shared borders Top & Left. They have a different color than the page content color. I want a thin black border line separating them. The top one works fine (putting the border line on the bottom using Format/Borders & Shading), but the left shared border (with a right border line) one leaves a bit of space(the color of the Shared Border), maybe 2 px wide between the border line and the right hand edge of the shared border. It seems to me that since FP knows how much of the Shared Border to color, it should know where to place the border, but I can't figure it out.     - transferring thumnail links I'm using Frontpage 2000 and over the past two years have created a web site which is now too diverse. I want to split it into two or more smaller sites, more relavent to the subjects. My problem is there are a lot of images (about 400) on the main site that I want to copy and paste to the new sites, are there any ways I can do this and still retain the thumbnail 'links' so viewers can enlarge the images. I've tried straight copying and pasting the images onto the new pages and that's fine but the 'links' to the thumbnails have been put in the Temp Internet Folder and I don't know what to do with them cause every now and then I delete everything in this folder to clean up the computer. It seems that I could copy them to a new folder? Would this work? Or do I have to somehow transfer them to an "Images" folder on the new web site. Is so how do I do that please?     - FP2003 DRW This looks like a bug to me...if I do a custom query (say an update or delete) using DRW in FP2003, it doesn't add the s-columnnames or s-columntypes values, resulting in the page producing this error message: "The operation failed. If this continues, please contact your server administrator." If you switch on the debugging, it points you to a ms article that doesn't exist: 817029 So is anyone else having this problem? (it looks that way doing a google search), and also, anyone know the status of fixing this? I can do this manually, but it's a pain in the butt, when compared to 2002 which never had this problem.     - Want same main nav bar for all levels I use Frontpage 98 (my website's simple, why upgrade?) My site hierarchy has at least 3 levels - HOME, MAIN and subMain. I want the primary nav bars for pages in the MAIN and subMain level to contain links to all MAIN level pages. Looks like Frontpage only supports one "top" border per site. Main pages' "top" nav bar consists of peers whereas subMain level pages consists of parent-and-its-peers. (subsubMain nav bar would want grandparent-and its-peers and so on). Clearly this calls for different tops. Or some way to conditionally enable a particular nav bar set based on hierarchical level. What I'd like is to have site borders turned on, but specify which top border to use for a given level in the site hierarchy.     - Shared borders questions I am using FP2000 and I have a page with shared borders on all sides. My first problem is that I want to keep the right shared border from floating out to the right when the browser is expanded horizontally. The other problem I'm having is getting the page content to go right up against the left shared border. There always seems to be a gap between the border and the content.     - HELP - Using FP using Web Parts on SharePoint Site. Hi, I am using FrontPage to develop Web Pages on a Sharepoint site with two Web Parts. The first is the Form Web Part with three Parameters T1, T2, T3. The second is the Data View Web Part. I have connected them with "Provide Form Values To" and "Modify View Using Paramaters From". FIRST QUESTION: My question what do I use as a default value if the user only fills in one of the Parameters Fields (i.e. T1)? I currently get the message that there are no items to show in this views. SECOND QUESTION: The user fills in all three paramters and submits the query. The user then erases the values in T2 and T3 and submits the query again. The results do not change. The Web Part is still passing the same values that were in T2 and T3 for the first query. I am running IIS on my win 2000 pro machine. I would like
to create a SSL secured sub-web and test it. How are you
suppose to do this? I do not have a certificate to add to
my machine so the option for SSL is not available. I do
have SSL on the actual server that runs my site. Do I
create the sub web on my local site without SSL. Go to
the live site and create a empty Sub web with the same
name and enable SSL, then publish the actual content?

Hi Pat,

You can issue your own certificate by using the MS Certificate Services.
