    - Port 80 Error Hello, When I try to create a new web I get an error message that says "Could not find a web server at 'Ben' on port 80." Can somebody tell me how to fix this.     - Drop Down Menu I did what was suggested about making the left border not hidden and I was able to put in the drop down menu just fine.     - FP2002 is adding unwanted HTML after upgading from98 I have upgraded from FP98 to FP2002. Now FP2002 is adding html code I don't want which is making some of my dynamicanimation hidden. I can edit it out, save the file and make it work ok but as soon as I close and then re- open the file the HTML is back.     - need assistance with Sharepoint default By default a view of my announcements and events should be showing up on my home page. They're not.     - want to stop my popup window from showing more than once. BUT.... at the moment the page opens to ask for name and any feedback about the site, what I intent to do is have the main page then have hello **** welcome back. this part I can add later, the part I really need is to have this page stop opening when they click the submit button that send the info to me. that way they do not keep being asked to submit they name and location details every time they visit the site. the page that opens is a pop up and is a form that collects information, age and gender, location and any other info they wish to give. if you want me to I can send in this forum the html code for someone to amend to achieve this for me. hope someone can help me add a few lines to my html page. thanks Jason Tag: How do I?.....     - PHP Code Reformatting... Wrongly! Frontpage, for some reason, thinks it knows more about PHP than I do. I insert a bit of code.. CODE: <img src=<? print("\"{$directoryComics}{$comic[$strip_id]}\" {$dimensions[3]}"); ?>" and it changes it to.. CODE: <img src="<? print("/"{$directoryComics}{$comic[$strip_id]}/" {$dimensions[3]}"); ?>%22" ?>" The first one is perfectly formatted and works fine. However, upon save, Frontpage changes the first line into the second. I am in Code view, and have disabled everything about Intellisense and code formatting I can find. Is there any way to either get it to stop this by turning off an option I just can't find, or a way to insert code literally so that Frontpage doesn't look at it at all?     - 'Send Keys' in FP2002? Well, can we? When I was coding VB in some MS Office applications, I learned of the Send Keys feature. I searched for the subject in FP2002 Help, but found nothing. In MyDatabase, there are records with a value for MyVariable. I would like to open a web page, and pass MyVariable for a user-selected record to its this page's SearchFuction.asp, but I have had no luck using Insert>Hyperlink>Parameters to carry MyVariable.     - <input type="text'.... > ?? (FrontPage 2003) I don't know if anyone has experienced this but.... I have created a very simple form with a about 6 textbox fields on web page. When I preview the page in IE6, some of the input fields have a yellow background and some don't - I'm not using any validation, no scripting, no preloaded textboxes, no styles... I just added the textboxes to the web page and previewed it... I can't find any difference in the textbox definitions from an input box with a yellow background and one a white background...     - Publishing problem - argh!! I have a .gif file with text overlay that will not publish no matter what I try. I have already tried recalculating hyperlinks, cleaning out my cache, and deleting the file and re-adding it to the page. It either shows up as "conflict" or "up-to-date" in the publish web dialog box. Even if I select it and publish it, it remains broken on the web site. Can someone help?     - Access 2000 via web Hello, I have a database that stores my hours worked on a project. Currently I copy the DB and the vb app on a usb thumbdrive. I run a web server, so I was wondering if I could just copy the 3 databases(DataStorage, SettingDB & System.mdw) to my web server. I could then access these via the web.     - Close window button I'd like to put a button on a page that closes that page. Happy New Year everybody!

I'm using FP 2002 in two different computers, a desktop
and a laptop. I need to work one site on both computers.
How do I avoid files being overwritten when publishing
from any one computer?
I mean I want to publish ONLY the files I change, no
matter what computer I'm using.

Is there any form to do it?

Always open your online site first in FP and publish (changes) to your machine you are working on, then publish changes back
- otherwise you will wipe out changes from one machine to another
