The Word Viewer should only let you View the document. To work with a Word
document, you need a word processor such as Microsoft Word or another
program that can open an MS Word doc.

Hope this helps,

If I read you correctly, you are asking

"How can I generate a Word document with a Word viewer."

Answer: You can't. Yes, you would have to install Word or other software
that creates a .doc file compatible with Word

Please also notice that this is not a FrontPage issue.

You could try "microsoft.public word.newusers", but I am really guessing.

The Word Viewer only lets you view Word files; you need either MS Word (full
product) - which is part of MS Office suite (or I believe, you can get it
separately but it costs more). Alternatively, the free download of Open
Office (www.openoffice.org) will probably suffice - it is a suite of
applications similar to MS Office, and can open the Office document
format(s), i.e. *.doc, *.xls, *.mdb, *.ppt

However this is not the correct newsgroup for your question.
