    - Publishing a Web I got instructions from this newsgroup on how to move my web from my web site back to my computer. I'm using rontpage 2002 running on a new machine under Vista and I lost the web when I moved to a new machine. After making a new folder, I opened FP, hit open a web, then entered the web address and pulled up the web from the internet. I then hit Publish Web and tried to publish it to the new folder.     - Font Help I'm using MS Frontpage 2002 and for about a week the font has been doing strange things.     - Trying to access my website on the internet now asks for a passwor Using Frontpage 2002, when I try to view my web site (www.tricklering.com) on the internet, I am now asked to log in with a password. The password box that pops up is the same box that pops up when I publish my new web pages through Frontpage. The "User Name" box is the same as my Network Solutions server name, but a different "User Name" shows up on another computer when trying to access the site from it.     - flash video wont display on 1 page I have a video that I am trying to put on the home page of my website. I converted it from AVI to FLV. I got a program that will take teh FLV file, and then spit out teh code for me for the player interface etc.. (works great I might add) Anyway, so I put the code for teh video (and I uploaded teh video file) on my home page. It does not display, it only shows a black box where teh video should be. I created a new page, and copied teh video code there. it works perfectly fine. But again, it wont display on my home page. Is there code or anythign that will prevent flash video from displaying???     - Front Page Extensions Installed Cannot Log In Cavtel I am trying to publish a site http://www.snacktimeservice.com I can FTP to the site, but cannot log in using FrontPage or SharePoint Services. The site is hosted by cavtel.net and I have been on the phone with them for weeks and they promise that the Front Page extensions are installed - even to the point where they uninstalled the extensions and re-installed them. They told me what my username and password is. But when I try to log in, it won't let me past the username/password. Cavtel tells me that there is a problem with the settings on my side. Any ideas?     - Navigation bar options disappearing Ok, I designed a page in Yahoo Site Builder (dumb, I know) then transfered it to FP 2002, with a few problems of course. My site uploads and all of the hyperlinks work fine, but once I move over them with the cursor, the words disappear and a little "jpeg" type of symbol appears in the upper left corner where the link was. By clicking on each hyperlink and selecting "Cell Properties" I can select the same image to appear in the background, but even then the word for the hyperlink is visible but has they little symbol over it.     - Stuck icon I have been working with FrontPage since 2000 when that edition first came out. But I have never run into this problem and cannot figure out how to fix it.     - forms confirmation page I have all my forms working great ( thanks to all you guys) except for one small problem. I created a thank you page as a confirmation page but when ever the form is submitted the confirmation page opens in the middle of the page instead of at the top of the page.     - Track changes Once again Microsoft fails. Somehow Track Changes became activated on my document (I never went NEAR the menu button) and even after I TURN IT OFF the document STILL shows the changes in red.     - Matching width of pages and shared borders I have a website with only a few pages (www.tricklering.com) and they all share top and bottom borders. When i publish the site then view it, the "shared borders" are centered fine and fit on computer screens but the "pages" are all just a bit too wide to fit, requiring a user to use the left and right arrows to view what is out of sight. How do i get the pages to match the width of the shared borders?     - FrontPage problems - help FrontPage problems Hello: I'm beginning to have a great number of problems publishing with FrontPage. I have several websites, but the hosting services seem to be implying that FrontPage is no longer being supported by Microsoft. I am having problems with password protect, and simply canNOT publish one site. PowWeb seems to have only excuses and each time they must reinstall FrontPage Extensions. Upon doing so I lose password protection. But of late I cannot even publish! Unix servers seem to have problems with FrontPage, although I have several sites published with FrontPage. But, after reading some of their "disclaimers," I'm wondering if they really support FrontPage any longer? I noticed that Microsoft has a couple of pieces of software which may be replacements for FrontPage? Is that true? If so, is FrontPage basically no longer supported? I have FrontPage2003. I thought I had a good product, but now I'm wondering if I have a "white elephant?" If FrontPage is on the way out, or no longer really supported, what are my alternatives? I use FrontPage, FrontPage Extensions and I believe SharePoint. I noticed there is something called Microsoft Expression Web. Is that an upgrade and the path I must follow? If so, is it a simple upgrade and fully supportive of FrontPage 2003? And, what about Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer? Is this the avenue I must follow, etc.? I really need help.     - Results Page Error - Please Help I updated a frontpage registration form and database connections through the backside code because my new machine doesn't have the program. Through this I added two new fields to my form.     - Yahoo deleted all my files. I had been working in their servers and they have since deleted all my files. I can see the files when I open FrontPage in my home computer and need to try and start a new program and have them to a disk format first, then I can publish to other servers.
