Publishing

Be patient with me, as I am new.

I'm trying to pubilsh my site to a remote server that is maintained by
someone else. I've been given username and passwords to log onto the site as
an author, but was told to log on to (just an example) www..help.me.com. I
need to publish to www.help.me.com/Imstupid/FPisnotmyforte, which ialready
exists but I'm trying to replace. When I open up the remote site
www.help.me.com, it doesn't let me open www.help.me.com/imstupid so I \am not
able to see or edit www.help.me.com/imstupid/FPisnotmyforte.

Whats the problem here? Do I need to contact my administrator to get a new
username and password for www.help.me.com/imstupid/FPisnotmyforte, or can I
publish from www.help.me.com and need to open the file another way.

I hope this made some sense. I can't communicate my problem any better.

Have you tried opening http://www.help.me.com/imstupid/FPisnotmyforte
directly (without opening www.help.me.com first)?

It could be that you have the credentials for the main web, but not for
the subweb you are trying to open - you may need another userid and
password.
