    - office 2007 and Frontpage 2000 I've had to get rid of Office 2000 because my version of Word was 'broken'. I've uninstalled it all and replaced it with the home edition of 2007. However, I would like to continue to use Frontpage 2000.     - Form clears when going"back" after failed validation Hello, I am using FrontPage 2003 and use the form handler to email me the results of the information entered into the form. I use validation on most fields and use the "failed validation page" if all information does not meet the criteria. That all works fine. My problem is that when a person inputs such data that fails validation, my site takes them to the "failed validation" page. Fine. But if the user click back to fix the error of his ways - all of their data entered is gone. Since it is a lengthy process for the user to enter his/her data, the user gets frustrated and enters again, or just forgets it. THen they really get upset if they make another mistake and they have to come back to yet another "cleared" form to start over. Is there any way to keep the form from resetting after going to the "Failed validation" page then coming back? I have read to eliminate the "failed validation" page and use the FP default, however, the form still clears. I also read to open the form in a new window, that does not help. I am computer literate but cannot program in any web language - my reason for using FP2003. SO hopefully, any friendly advice would be within the constraints of what I can point and click in frontpage. In other words, a suggestion of HTML code wouldn't do me any good, although appreciated.     - Having a picture dissolve or fade into another I am using FP2002 but not very proficient as yet. I would like to have 4-5 jpeg pictures in a web header dissolve or fade into each other. Either have one picture fade to another or have 2 or 3 pix along the top fade into 2 or 3 other pictures. Is it possible with FP? How would I do this?     - Web Site won't load/start in Browser I am trying to help a friend who volunteered to maintain a FP website. He doesn't know what he did, but when you launch the site in the Internet Browser, the page won't load - the task bar is blinking very fast with 'waiting for http://....' and it never loads.     - Strange corner suddenly appearing... not sure what caused it.. HELP I am the volunteer webmaster for http://www.isdar.org/ I just noticed that on the "WELCOME" page (index.html) page, in the left corner, above the word "WELCOME" I suddenly have a little white line that is appearing. I also have a white (or light silver?) line that is appearing above the gray border (above "WELCOME".) If you go to this page - http://www.isdar.org/membership.htm and probably all of the rest of the pages, I have a tacky dark grey line that suddenly appeared, along with other strange things that suddenly appeared. The website used to have a nice, clean look. I'm not sure what suddenly was changed. The index.html page also looked like this (I just found it with these strange lines) but I have the index.html page straighened out now, with the exception of that corner. I can't figure out what is causing that strange little white line in the corner. If I can get one page straightened out, I can go through and straighten the rest out, but at this point, I'm lost as to what suddenly was changed on the website. I appreciate any and all help.     - frontpage2003 changes links If it helps, I use frontpage2003 and XP Home. When I change the location of a HTML on my computer, frontpage automatically changes hyperlinks that are linked to images. for example if on a webpage i have a link to a image to in that same folder, and then i take that folder and take it to a different computer or location. Front page changes the link to the image so that the link is still pointing to the image. I know this is a great feature but the thing is..How can I stop this from happening (atleast sometimes.     - drop down menu I am not sure if FrontPage has an easy way of doing this or if it is something that would need to be hand coded. What I would like to do is have a dropdown of options from a menu button on our site.     - Some Front Page Fodlers Not Visible in "Folder List" I have seen this question before but not received an answer. If I open frontpage and view the folders on the left, only about 1/2 of the folders are actually showing. Thus, there are folders that are not visible. However, you can clearly see them in Windows Explorer. You can also see them from the File Open or Instert Image or any other navigation type box.     - FP Extensions _ Link My ISP supports FP extensions. For Link Bars Style I have specified "A style based on the theme of the page' which shows fine on local and remote site. But, for my Index page when I specify the Link Bars Style "A style based on the theme of the page' it shows fine on local, but not on remote. When I publish the Link Bars Styles shows I think 'An HTML style where each link is separated by a vertical line', which is not what I specified. Included are over 2,000 images.     - Set up Remote Web Server I maintain a web site for a client. They moved to a new server and I can no longer access the remote web site, which is how I move files back and forth. They provided me with a new password, but I am not even able to get that far. I'm running Front Page 2003, but I suspect they have not enabled Front Page extensions on the new server.     - Website not displaying correctly on clients computer Hi, I've just uploaded the following website: www.churchgateauctions.co.uk It displays fine on my computer but on my clients the blue box is expanded and shows two blue boxes and there is a thin line with runs through the three boxes at the bottom of the screen. The only thing that I can think of is that the text size is somehow being altered on my clients computer. However, I've check the text size and we are both viewing the text as medium.     - Database Query and extensions verified, no records, no error It seems so simple.... Verified database and query. simplified and with various approaches, the wizard "sees' the tables and fields. Tried simply retrieving Top 25 with no form field matching conditions. Suppose to return "No records found", but doesn't (and shouldn't). Just a row of column headers without any records. Posting to SQL Server 2000 with server extensions using Frontpage 2000. Opening saved ASP page with browser after publishing to server. Tried with and without input field, with and without quotes, various approaches to record retrieval just to see if I can get it to work. What am I missing? Something basic I assume. I can't find any software that creates a video image that sits on top of the
web page. You know - where a person walks out from the side of the screen
and starts talking to you. All searches led me to companies offering Online
Video Spokespeople; but I want to make my own for my web site. Can you tell
me what tools are necessary to create this effect?
I'm using FP 2003
