I've been maintaining a website on my own for some time. I'd like to have a
couple other people assist me in maintaining the website. Is it possible for
multiple people to update pages and add new content? How would you keep the
local / remote web sites in synch with multiple people using multiple
computers?

Thanks,
Ron

1) You all can work just in the Online web in FP
(dangerous if you make errors)
2) Each of you should Publish Remote to their Local before you start work, then publish your changes
(still a possibility of over writing each other changes but you should get a warning of different pages)
3) Separate the web into subwebs and have each person work only in their web/subweb

You can use a third party Content Management System such as Content Seed.
See http://contentseed.com/.
