Index File -error reading file message

I am new at Frontpage and everything has been going fine, but today when I
try to open my index.htm file I get the error message Error Reading File.
So, I tried deleting the entire file going to my back up file, reloading it.
Everything worked great published the website, the website updated. So I
went back to frontpage tried to open the index file and same error message.
Any ideas on how to fix it?
