I would like to create a newsletter and insert it in an email. I would like
the newsletter to be open in the email. I do not want the user to click on
the icon to open it. Is this possible? If so, how?

Thanks.

Many spam blockers would delete your e mail

You could use a PDF and insert it into the body of the mail. Or (if using
an MS office mail like outlook) then you can design the newsletter in Word
and cut and paste it - should not get blocked then

I would send it internally at work, so I think it would go through. I did
try a pdf, but when I did it, it shrank. What is the proper way to do this?

I compose my weekly newsletter in Frontpage, then do a copy and paste into a
e-mai on a listserver and mail it out to around 2400 receipents. I do get
blocked occasionally by different ISPs, but if you don't put in a lot of
links in your newsletter, and have an opt out message, it will generally go
through. Sometimes the ISPs will ask for additional confirmation that you
are not a spammer.

The "best" method would to get adobe pdf creatator (not sure how much it
costs) this will let you make high quality PDFs.

There are zillions of free PDF makers (try google) BUT the majority of these
are rubbish - you will see need another programme to create the file that
want to convert. See if you can find a good one - but if it's a work thing I
would just the real programme from adobe, we use it all the time and it's
really simple (which is good for me)

I usually create our newsletter in FP and use Outlook/Exchange to send it out.
Once you have the newsletter created and posted to your web server, open
Outlook and type the URL in the outlook address field. That should bring it
up in the view window. Once it is there go to "Actions" on the top tool bar
and "send web page by email".
