I am not recieving all email. I do get some (from hotmail for example, none
from symantec or microsoft)

I have my a static ip 71.189.157.84

I was told by network solution that my mx records are correct and the
problem lies in my set up of exchange.
I am not sure where I need to start making changes? I added ipconfig ans
nslookup below.

any suggestions

Thanks

JJ

Have you checked your Junk Mail Folder in Outlook? If you are receiving
most email from the Outside and not some others, then its most likely
getting filtered. Are you filtering your mail for Spam?

Re: not recieving all email by JJ

I use Symantec mail security for exchange. I have called them and have
determined that it is not that program . I turned it off and still no email.

I have ran the Microsoft exchange trouble shooter. Not much help in
trobleshooting this problem. I do have a junk folder and it is empty.
I am not sure where to go from here.

thanks

JJ

I am trying to look at all angles here.

On my router I have port 25 and 143 open. That should take care of incoming
and outgoing.

Is that correct

thanks JJ

Have you tried enabling Message Tracking to see if the mail is reaching your
server?

Re: not recieving all email by JJ

JJ
Thu May 15 23:37:00 CDT 2008

What I ended up doing is calling Microsoft for a ticket. It was a setting
that was not set right in the smtp area. I am getting more mail except a few
are not comming through. I do filter junk with Symantec Mail security for
Exchange. I turned it off and still not recieving any email from one client.
I am not sure where it is sending it or where the folder it would be in. They
do not get a ndr message when sending to me. the email is @iw.net

I ran MS Exchange troubleshooting assistant and it gave a error for:
Non-Exchange Gateway error
Port 25 did not respond on server ^ç?§ê? á?¯á??è??Ä?ï¼?.

Is this a concern.

not all email comming through.

Any recomendations

JJ
