i there anyway to findout the site name and organization
name of an exchange server that was copied completely to
another server as a backup. now i have to redo this guys
server and exchange and i can't restore the priv and pub
files to the new server because he left and didn't leave
any info on the old server.
or is there a tool i can use to export all the old info
and then import it into a new server and excahnge 5.5
setup

Rich,

If there is a workstation with an outlook client that has ever connected to
the exchange server, you can get the values from the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Exchange DS\13dbb0c8aa05101a9bb000aa002fc45a
(First number)
