Beta: OWA issues
After logging onto my owa site, I end up with a page with a bunch of code at
the top, and it says loading in the bottom pane but never seems to load.
havent done any code modifications or anything, so not sure if this is
something in my config.
This is a new install of server 2003 ent and exchange server 2003.
Let me know if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks,
Richard Burgess

ports for exchange
Hi I wish to use pop to check my exchange mail rather than OWA,It worked
fine with NT and exchange 5.5,but since we have upgrade to win 2000 server
It keeps asking for passwords and nothing seen to work, the server is behind
a firewall with 25 and 110 open do I need to open a extra port for
athentercation?

Upgrading to Exchange 2003
We currently have Exchange 2000 running on a windows 2000
server. We would like to upgrade both to 2003 version. I
was told that it is not a good idea to upgrade windows 2k
to 2003 first because having exchange 2000 running on a
win2003 server may corrupt the whole OS. Should we
upgrade the exchange to 2003 first and then upgrade the
windows?

Exchange 2003 POP3 Issues
Hi,
I am running Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition with
Exchange Server 2003. Exchange's POP3 service refuses to
start. I just performed a clean install and it comes back
with "The service failed to respond in a timely fashion".
What can cause the POP3 service to fail?
Thanks in advance,

HELO from Exchange 2000 server is bogus
Mail from our Exchange 2000 Server is getting flagged as
SPAM by some ISP's because according to them, "[our] HELO
from [our Exchange 2000] server is bogus".
I'm not sure what this means. The only thing I can think
of is this:
1) Our Exchange Server is behind a firewall.
2) The DNS MX record for the 2 domains it serves points
to a name that resloves to the firewall IP.
3) The firewall then pass all SMTP traffic to the
Exchange Server.
4) However, the firewall will not respond to ping as
currently configured. Thus pinging our name that maps to
the firewall IP address results in "no respone".
Also, the server name that gets passed in the mail
message header is the intranet domain name,
eg. "servername.intranetdomain.local". Is there a way to
change that as well? Reply email addresses have the
correct domain name on them.
Any help will be appreciated.

Setting up pop3 for websites
Hello,
I currently am on a w2k3 box running IIS6 at my home LAN. I use this to
host several of my websites.
My DNS is hosted by MyDomain.com and all websites point to my IP address.
IIS host headers take care of the mapping.
I have Exchange 2000 Enterprise, although not installed yet.
I would like to have my own email addresses(POP3) for each website.
Is Exchange the way to go to accomplish this. or is exchange overkill for
this.
I have no experience in Exchange. shouldn't be too hard? ...right?
Thanks,
