- Remove any smarthosts from SMTP virtual server properties
- For mail to internet, create a SMTP Connector for address space *, insert
the smarthost at MXLOGIC (btw, are you routing outbound also through them?)
- For mail to your partner company, create a new SMTP Connector, add their
domain in the address space tab, insert their mail server fqdn or IP address
as smarthost.
- Make sure you have SMTP connectivity to their mail host.
- If using IP address, it should be enclosed in square brackets, e.g.
[1.2.3.4]
- Cost only matters if you have two or more Connectors for the same address
space. In this case, you have a more specific Connector for their address
space, which will be used to deliver mail to their domain.
