exchange disasterrecovery setup question

i want to try how to disasterrecovery setup

install a win2003 , dcpromo , install the service "nntp" " smtp" "World wide
web"

and then input the exchange CD " setup\i386\setup.exe /disasterrecovery"

but it show some error

( the component "microsoft exchange forest preparation " cannont be assigned
the action "disaster recovery " because you need to runsetup with the
/forestprep switch before
installing into this forest )

still have any step need do ?

Hi,

If it is a new AD Forest/domain you are installing and Exchange has never
been installed in this domain you can't use the /disasterrecovery switch.
You must install the "normal" way (forestprep, domainprep and then setup).

coz i have a case , my office is using " chinese win 2003 & chinese
exchange2003 ent " but i want to make one server to replace this , have any
good solution to solve this ?
