Hello

We uninstalled the reliable multicast protocol on our exchange server
and as a result the advanced queue stopped working.

As a consequence of this none of my users could recieve mail from the
outside.

I've restored the multicast protocol and everything works fine however,
is all the mails sent while the advanced queue was down gone now?

Thanks

Hi,

If the external email servers were not able to connect to your server they
will stay in a queue on the external server for default 48 hours. After this
time runs out they will be returned to the sender.

The external mailservers were able to connect, just that my exchange
server was not able to deliver it.

Is there any way I can recover these mails?
Sounds very stupid if exchange just deleted them because it couldnt deliver.
