I am going to be migrating an exch5.5 to exch 2003 soon. I am looking to
change the domain name on the new server as well as actie directory.

Basically I want to start over and only transfer users mailbox contents to
the new server. Will the migration wizzard do this effectively? Is this the
easiest way?

I have several users with 3 - 4 gb of info in mail boxes.

If you are going to be creating a new domain with AD then your best option
would be export the user mailboxes with Exmerge.exe from the Exchange Server
CD. Have users clean out their mailboxes before the exmerge process and for
the users with larger than 2GB mailboxes you will have to create mulitple
pst files.
