eval questions.

I have AD running on 2003 in a production enviroment. We
do not use exchange at all. I have install the exchange
eval in a test AD enviroment. I am thinking about
installing the eval copy into a production domain so a few
users and see it. By installing the eval copy of exchange
in my production AD do I put my production directory at
risk in any way. I plan to kill the eval exchange server
at some point.

Why don't you simply create a trust between the production and test domains
and give a couple of users accounts on the test domain. That way, they can
see what OWA is like - no point in having them connect with Outlook as the
functionality for them will not be much different unless they are using
Outlook 2003. There is no way I would install an eval into my production
domain. Just my .02

The schema extensions are the same in eval and RTM.
If you ever plan on E2k being in the environment, this would have to be
extended anyway.
When done with the eval, you can either uninstall, or reinstall with full
version over the top.
If you decide not to keep, the AD schema extensions would remain, but the
rest could be removed.
