Server 2000 / Exchange 2000 - new install of both.

When I create users on the server and check off for an Exchange mailbox to
also be created it isn't.

In my email generator there are 3 email addresses to be created and all are
checked off.

Any thoughts on what I could have set incorrectly or the problem?

Thanks
Norm

Are the mailboxes set to inherit/update from the policy? (should be by
default).
Check your RUS (recipient update service) in ESM - can you force an update
manually?

I experienced the same problem with two different clients (one is
win2k3/exch2k3, another is win2k/exch2k).

force update didn't help.

I had to reboot the dc and exch servers (dc and exch on separated servers),
then the email got generated automatically. I couldn't confirm what the
problem was. The existing users didn't have any problem and no error in the
event log.

don't add the address manually.
