Hi,

I've just setup Exchange Server at our office in Mumbai, India, and am
facing a very unusual situation.

Our domain is hosted on a remote server with 10 POP E-mail id's defined as
follows:
jtalpade, tshaikh, pshanbhag, mshriyan, mmanjrekar, rumap, adivate,
rtalpade, schourasia and rramesh
On my exchange server, i have defined the following users:
tshaikh, mshriyan, mmanjrekar, rumap, adivate, rtalpade, schourasia and
rramesh
I have kept "jtalpade" & "pshanbhag" out of the exchange server user list as
they reside in a different city, viz Delhi & Bangalore respectively.

When any of the exchange users try sending mail to these external users,
they get a bounce mail from the administrator with the following message:

Subject: Undeliverable: FW: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'jtalpade@acumen.co.in' on 6/23/04 2:59 PM
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this
message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient
directly to find out the correct address.

Can anyone please help me resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for your inputs, however, I had found that the recipient policy had
the "responsible" option selected - which I disabled to get the system
functional.

Thanks a lot for the help and support.

Regards,

Manoj Shriyan
