I just installed Exchange 2003 on a (new) Windows 2003
server. Ultimately I wish to move users from Exchange 5.5
on an NT server (and decommission that box).

After the Exchange installation, the e2kdsinteg.log file
shows the following errors:
"The srs contains no home-mdb (homeMdb"
"The srs contains no home-mta (homeMta)"
"The public mdb contains no home-mta (homeMta)"
"The system attendant contains no home-mdb (homeMdb)"
"The system attendant contains no home-mta (homeMta)"

I am able to create a new mailbox, but am not able to move
anyone over from the old server. When I attempt to move
someone, the fields for the new server and location of the
new mailbox store are grayed out and not available.

I can't find any useful info on the errors above. Can
anyone shed some light?

It sounds like there may be an issue with your Active Directory Connector
(ADC) server.
Do you have Exchange Active Directory Connector installed and is the service
running?
Did you use the Exchange ADCTools to create User Connection Agreements?
Are there any errors in the Application event log on the ADC server about
adc?

Yes, the ADC is installed and the service is running. I
did create the connection agreements with the adctools.
There are no errors in the application log.

First since ADC has had some time to replicate, if you re-run the
ConfigDSInteg, do you still get the errors?
If you do try re-running the Config_CA to replicate the all the objects.
Then wait maybe an hour and try to run the check again.
1) Opening ADC Admin on the ADC server.
2) Open the Connection Agreement which which says Config_CA
3) Go to the schedule tab
4) You should see a check box which says replicate all objects the next
time the agreement runs. Check this and click OK.
