I would like to add another domain controller for our
existing domain.

The existing Windows 2000 domain has Exchange 5.5 on it
and is running in mixed mode.

Is there a compatability issue between Exchange and
Windows 2000 in native mode?

Thanks,
Jim

Not at all. In fact, Exchange 5.5 has no concept of Active Directory since
it has it's own directory service.

There is no compatibility problems with this as long as you use at least sp3
for Exchange 5.5. The only issue that cones to mind is with Exchange 5.5
installed ON a 2000 DC--the LDAP port would conflict with the LDAP that is
needed for active directory--this only applies on the same physical machine
though--the workaround is simply changing the port LDAP uses in Exchange
Administrator.
