Using Exchange 2003 in simple multi-domain ISP-type configuration...

I fairly new to exchange, but have a fair understanding of POP3 & SMTP. I want to use E2K3 for about 200 users across 12 domains. I am looking for a DOC or some information on the recommended ways to setup simple, single server, muti-domain (for email addresses only) E2K3 configurations

The biggest question I have is
To setup multiple domains, should I create each domain in AD, or simply add the corresponding email addresses to users that have addresses in more than one domain

or is there a better way?

See if http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF010.html helps....not sure if
you're going to be using POP based on your post (shouldn't need to, no?)
