If a user modifies messages whilst off-line (e.g. moving between
folders, replying, etc) does the re-synchornisation take place
automatically?

And if the user has also used OWA so the messages on the server have
changed, which changes take precedence?

Synchronisation takes place as soon as Outlook can see the exchange server
again (Outlook 2003 is brilliant for this).

Not sure on precedence tho ... you might want to run a few tests.
