URGENT: exchange 5.5 Access problem

Hi,
I have an exchange server 5.5
the name is (parker.com)

I installed outlook on a remote computer that computer
can access the server via OWA " mail.parker.com/exchange"

But when i configure outlook to use the pop3 as follow

pop3.mail.parkermeridien.com or pop3.parker.com
smtp.mail.parkermeridien.com or smtp.parker.com

By the way port 110 and 25 is open.

I get this error

"The connection to the server has failed.
Account: 'pop3.parkermeridien.com',
Server: 'pop3.parkermeridien.com', Protocol: POP3, Port:
110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number:
0x800CCC0E"

Please tell me if iam doing anything wrong? and what is
the soulution.

pop3.parkermeridien.com, pop3.mail.parkermeridien.com, pop3.parker.com,
smtp.mail.parkermeridien.com and smtp.parker.com do not appear to be valid
public DNS names. Try entering mail.parker.com as the pop and smtp server
for your mail client, that seems to be a valid DNS name.
