Trouble Shooting Upgrading a Virtual Server on Active/Passive clus

I have successfully installed Exchange 2003 on node one of my active/passive
cluster. I have placed the Computer Name, IP and Physical Disk online and
then attempt to upgrade the virtual server. When I do this, I get the
following error:

The formt of the specified computer name is invalid.
Err: c00704ba
Src: Win32

I did have some problems on my AD Forest where one of the Schema Masters had
a '~' in the name. I have corrected this, but the exchange virtual server
will not allow me to perform an update. Are there any places that might be a
good place to start troubleshooting this?

I firmly believe this may be a problem with my Active Directory, but I have
no idea what computer name the upgrade of the virtual server is attemting to
use. The name of the virtual server is cc-smtp-v0 and the name of the GC is
cc-gc-s3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How are you fixed for WINS? Is it all working properly?
