SBS 2003

I think I've broken some kind of association within IIS, as OWA has
stopped working. If I go to the http://server/exchange page, I see a
directory listing of the various mailboxes.

So, for example, I see a "folder" for myself. If I go into the folder,
I see folders for each of my personal folders (Inbox, Calendar, etc.).
If I go into Inbox, for example, I see a list of ".EML" files.

I'm guessing that there's an IIS plug-in I've broken..?

Any clues how to resurect this?

Thanks,
Jon

Looking in IIS, what's ticked and not ticked.
Do you remember going in and changing anything at all?

Mark,

Thanks for the reply.

I've certainly made changes to the numerous IIS sites defined on that
server, to do things like add PHP's IIS plug-in. For some sites, I
removed all the plug-ins that weren't needed -- i.e. the huge list of MS
ones (such as .NET). However, the default site (which has the Exchange
virtual folder) looks like it's not been changed.

I thought, for example, that the problem might has been because I
removed a Default Document, but the Directory Listing I get doesn't seem
to have any documents in it...

Lee,

If I look in ISAPI Filters, I see SBSFLT, fpexedll.dll and OwaLogon. I
don't think I've ever touched this page in the IIS setup, so I doubt I
removed one of the Filters. Should I attempt to put it back, maybe?

Now that you mention it, I'm not sure if E2K3 has exchfilt.dll any more. If
you can find it in the system32 folder, it might be worth trying to add it,
even temporarily, to see what happens.

I'll have a look later and see if it's on my own server.

Lee.

Nope, ignore me. It looks like E2K3 doesn't use exchfilt.dll any more.

How are you Virtual Directories mapped? It should be something like this:

Exadmin - \\.\BackOfficeStorage
Exchange - \\.\BackOfficeStorage\YourDomain.com\MBX
ExchWeb - C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\ExchWeb

Hi all
Iâ??ve read a lot here about how to restore corrupted "Exadmin", OWA "Exchange" Default Website and etc
I have different problem
Exchange 2003 server setup program supposed to install (restore corrupted if any) web part of Exch2003 server
In my case this is not happening. I have fresh copy of win2003 server installed. IIS, SMTP, NNTP services running.
Installation Exchange 2003 srv running fine - no errors or warnings. After installation completed no any "ExAdmin" or "exchange" virtual folders present in IIS manager
Why this happening? Do I need some special services running

Roman.
