Hello,
we have two Win08 servers with one running Exchange 2007. Both servers are
AD-servers and having both a global catalog.
After a reboot of the second server, Microsoft Exchange System Attendant
doesn't start automatically, allthough the startup option is set to
"Automatic". We can start up the service without any problems, so this seems
to be a dependency problem.
According to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940845/en-us we changed the
dependencies of the service (Method 2) (NtLmSsp (NT LAN Manager Security
Support Provider) isn't available in Win 2008) and also added the Kerberos
KDC service. But still we get errors like
Log Name: Application

Event ID: 1005
Task Category: General
Level: Error

Description:
Unexpected error The local machine must be a Kerberos KDC (domain
controller) and it is not. ID no: 80090339 Microsoft Exchange System

Any suggestions to solve this are welcome.
