Greetings,
I have been trying to come up with a solution for a
backup to our current exchange server setup. We have a
exchange server 2003 on a windows 2003 standard server
currently and are adding a second server to the domain. I
want to be able to offer e-mail services from the second
domain controller should the first one fail. We would
like to be able to provide the ability to send e-mail and
retrieve e-mail from the secondary exchange server should
the primary server go down.
I am reluctant to just install excg on the second server
because I am not sure of how the second excg server would
integrate with the primary.
How are other exchange administrators handling this
backup/fault tolerance issue?
Would appreciate any ideas.
TX,
John B
