Hi,

I have two Windows 2003 DC's one running Exchange 2003. The second DC was
DCPROMO'd after the first DC was installed and running exchange. The second
DC does not appear to have the updated schema. Do I need to do this manually
and if so how is this done or has something gone wrong with the DCPROMO ?

Any ideas greatly appreciated

Regards
Ian

Might you be confusing schema with objects? Were you expecting to see
the Exchange tabs in Active Directory Users & Computers on the new DC?
That's not Schema. You need to run Exchange setup on that box and then
install just the System Manager components.
Apologies if i'm on the wrong track there. Please repost if you need
to clarify the question.

Mark,

You were right in your assumption. I was confusing schema with objects :-(

I will run the setup on the second DC ASAP.

Thanks very much for your input.

Kind Regards

Ian
