If my exchange 2003 standard breaks down.

Is it possible to restore the server using Exchange 2003 Enterprise with the
/disasterrecovery switch? - or must I restore using standard?

I'm fairly certain you would need to restore with Standard. If you have
Enterprise on hand now, upgrade in place so this won't be an issue :)

The /disasterrecovery switch rebuilds the server based on the information
that is already in Active Directory, so I'm reasonably sure that the version
would have to be the same.

You shouldnt be using wrong versions of Exchange for performing
disaster recovery - i have not come across any documentation which MS
has published but i am fairly certain that the attributes in AD along
with registry has definied within them. So, best recommendation - if
you have standard edition - performa DR using std edition ONLY.

Later, you could ofcourse use the re-install switch wtih enterprise
edition of Exchange.

Hi, Tushar - I think you meant to reply to the OP, not to me. :-)
