This is my first post. I was wondering if someone could school me on
setting up a public folder in exchange 2007. Read the exchange help
files and I created the public folder on the exchange and enabled the
mail but then what how do I point the end users to the folders.

Jess,
Are you using Exchange 2007 SP1? Before SP1 users had to go to
https://owa/public, after SP1 users should see the Public folders on their
web based mailbox https://owa/exchange
