I have installed SBS 2003, ISA, and Exchange 2003 using
all of the default settings. I'm been trying to send e-
mails to different people. I have searched and searched
and searched for a solution to my problem. I continue to
receive undelivered delivery in my inbox each time I send
e-mail. The error message I receive says.

" The message cannot be delivered due to a configuration
error on the server. Please contact your Administrator.
< #5.3.0 smtp;553 5.3.0 DNSBL:To request
removal of, 68.46.244.47, please send an E-mail to
removeme@sbc.sbcglobal.net>"

Can anyone assist me with this issue?

Your server's public IP is listed on an open relay blacklist.
Check it out here:

You ought to be able to submit your IP for 'testing' to each of the
blacklists to remove it. I think you can click on the links in the
dnsstuff.com page to get to the right place.

E2003 is not an open relay by default - your IP was possibly used by someone
else who had an open relay/proxy in the past. I suggest you disable
authenticated relay also unless you absolutely need it - this is in the
properties of your default virtual SMTP server.

I noticed that this IP can be successfully pinged - do you have a firewall
in place? You should be blocking inbound ICMP by default....you need only
port 25 open for SMTP mail (forwarded to your Exchange server's private IP),
and either 80 or 443 for OWA (the latter if you use SSL, which I recommend).
