Ok, My situation...

I had Windows 2000 with 5.5, I migrated to a different
machine with Server 2003 and Exchange 2003. Everything
went fine, but I want to use my Actual machine that had
windows 2000 on, So I go ahead and Install server 2003 on
that machine with Exchange 2003, everything goes fine also
now I have 2 machines with exchange 2003, I can use both
for the service, but when I turn off the first machien
that I installed 2003 on (migration machine) everything
still works fine, I can send recieve mail perfectly. But
when I add a user in the AD and give them an exchange
account it goes thru fine, but when I go to a machine with
Outlook and try to setup their account it tells me that
the name could not be found. I have tried replication,
and I cant Change the ADC to point to my new server, but
the server works fine only problem is that I cant create
new users.

PLEASE HELP ASAP...

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

I think your issue is that you have not pointed your Recipient Update
service to the New Exchange server. In the ESM under Recipients ->
Recipient Update Service Make sure that both the domain the Enterprise RUS
is pointed to the Running Exchange server (old) and a valid DC/GC.

Hope this Helps,
