Small Busiiness Windows 2000 Server. Software CD indicates exchsrvr2000 but in Help About it says 5.00 build 2195 sp1
NTbackup displays the 5.0 version. It does not appear to be Exchange aware. Windows OS says 5.00.2195 sp1.

When selecting the exchange server busy files won't backup. Documentation says when installing Exchange server a special NTbackup replaces the Windows 2000 NTbackup. How can I tell which is which and can I load or reload just the exchange version of NTBackup?

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the version of ntbackup doesn't increment

You won't be doing a file level backup.

In NT backup, you should see:
- Microsoft Exchange Server
- Your server name
- Microsoft Information Store
- Storage Groups

You can backup the entire Microsoft Information Store here, or the
individual storage group if Exchange System Manager was installed on the box
running ntbackup.
