We have 1 exchange server 2003 running on a DC, I need to move exchange to a
new serverâ?¦Server has diffrent name... tried running setup /disasterrecovery
on the new server to install exchange per MS KB it installed the system
manager and I only see my old server listed when I try to move a mailbox I
only have 1 option the old server, can anyone please point me in the right
direction.

Any help is greatly appreciated

No need to run /disasterrecovery switch. You only need to install Exchange
on the new server, move mailboxes then follow,

so should i uninstall and start over with a regular setup?

Ok after moving one mailbox to the new server i got a reminder pop up in
Outlook for all my past reminders that i ever had in outlook saying its past
due can any help with this please

ok it looks like i only had that on a few mailboxes, so far i have
reinstalled exchange not with the /disasterreovery switch i have moved all
mailboxes to the new server thx i will let you know if anything else comes up.
