I am moving my E2K3 into a cluster and need to relocate the RUS services to
a non-clustered box (correct?).
I have a front-end OWA server that I was hoping could run the RUS service,
however, it doesn't seem to let me choose the Front End server. Is there any
way to host the RUS service on a Front End E2K3 OWA server?
If not- can I change the front-end server to be a full exchange server in
the site, and just not put any mailboxes on it. What would happen when an
internet client hits owa on this box and tries to access thier mailbox in
the cluster? The cluster is not available to the internet, will the internet
accessible exchange server proxy the request to the cluster or will it
simply redirect the users browser, at which point, they would not reach
their mailbox?
I am obviously trying to avoid installing another E2K3 server just to host
RUS.
