Hi

Just a quick question. A client wishes to have Exchange 2003 installed on
their Windows 2003 server which has been up and running for 2 years now. They
now wish to use Exchange as their email system.

They are low on funds and need Exchange installing onto their existing
server as new equipment is out of the question. They have received Exchange
2003 fully licensed as a recommendation from a sister company.

Do you forsee any problems installing Exchange 2003 onto the existing server
after all data has been backed up?

Thanks to all,
Jeff

Is this existing server a domain controller? Their *sole* server? It isn't
recommended to install Exchange on a DC - it makes disaster recovery far
more difficult. However, presuming the hardware has sufficient firepower,
you *can* do this, yes.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, this server is the sole DC and has enough firepower.

Thanks,
Jeff
