Hi,

Can you give me a link to good documentation about how to properly setup a
Load Balanced Frontend Exchange 2003 configuration with a Clustered Exchange
2003 Backend configuration ?

This configuration is not uncommon but I fail to find good documentation @
MS.

The OWA and ActiveSync part is especially important.

Help us understand what you've read so far. Which documents have you found
at http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/library ?

yes, and as well as the link Al posted, you need:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/technologies/nlb.mspx
Essentially you haven't asked an Exchange question at the FE. To NLB
is more a Windows question really. You can stick whatever you want on
the box as long as you set NLB up right, which is a Windows function.

And as for the BE, well, it's a cluster. The link Al posted has all
the details cluster wise. A BE is a BE, regardless of whether it's a
cluster or not. The difference to that is if you are in mixed mode
(5.5 & E2Kx) when your SRS can't be on the cluster or an FE and you
need a 3rd box as a temporary measure.
