Hi,

I'm running Win2008 Standard 64bit. I installed Exchange 2007 SP1 64bit and
then installed Sharepoint 2007 on the same server. This broke Exchange's OWA.
I followed suggestions of many; MS 823265 is for Sharepoint 2 and 2007
doesn't have Excluded paths.

In any case, I uninstalled CAS and reinstalled it. Now neither exchange nor
sharepoint are functioning. I'm ready to wipe the server and start from
scratch but i would like to know what steps are required to make Exchange and
Sharepoint run on the same server.

Many thanks
Sam

Unless this:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA011607771033.aspx hasn't been
properly updated I would live by it. Don't have SharePoint server and
Exchange server on the same box.

Thanks for the reply.
From what I can see on that page, Exchange 2003 and SharePoint 2007 work
fine with a couple of tweaks; however they don't talk about Exchange 2007.

These 2 products are meant to work together. If anyone has any tips it's
much appreciated.

Thanks
Sam

Windows SharePoint Services and Exchange 2003 worked with a change to
the SharePoint search paths to exclude all the Exchange specific
directories from the path.

SharePoint Portal Server and Exchange 2003 were not and are not
supported together.

I'd be stunned if that situation changed. There are far too many
variables; only someone who didn't need to run either of them would
put them both on the one box. Run two boxes or hang on a while and
Hyper-V them.
