History:
My curent set up consists of a NT 4.0 domain running Exchange 5.5 and a
Windows 2003 AD. My users and computer accounts reside in the AD, and the
Exchange accounts are all set to use the AD accounts for access. I have
built a new Windows Server 2003 computer and I am installing Exchange 2003.

Situation:
I am setting up the ADC, and in step 4 recieve the following error:

ADC Tools encountered errors updating some connection agreements.
Please check that your logged on account has full permissions on the ADC
connection agreement container.

Error: Connection Agreement Wizard could not contact the ADC server EX01 to
set the
connection agreements credentials for Domain\User. Please ensure that
Active Directory
Connector is running and can be contacted from this computer. Then rerun the
Connection
Agreement Wizard. iADCI.SetPassword returned 0x800706BE Method '~' of object
'~' failed

I am using an account with full administrative rights (Domain Admin,
Enterprise Admin and Shcema admin). The Exchange server is running the ADC
tool. What I don't understand is why the Connection Agreement Wizard is
unable to contact the server it is running on when I verified the
credentials when going through the steps in the wizard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
