Hi
I'vfe tried to adjust the incoming message size limit on my Exchange 2007 -
but a testmail from another Exchange (another location/domain on the
internet) with a 40 MB attachment still fails:
This message is larger than the current system limit or the
recipient's mailbox is full. Create a shorter message body or remove
attachments and try sending it again.
<RPEXCDB01.rp.local #5.2.3 smtp;450 5.2.3 Msg Size greater than
allowed by Remote Host>
Here's what have been done:
Get-transportconfig:
MaxDumpsterSizePerStorageGroup : 200MB
MaxDumpsterTime : 7.00:00:00
MaxReceiveSize : 500MB
MaxRecipientEnvelopeLimit : 5000
MaxSendSize : 500MB
Get-receiveconnector | List:
MaxMessageSize : 500MB
Get-sendconnector | List:
MaxMessageSize : 300MB
GET-TRANSPORTSERVER | LIST :
ExternalDsnMaxMessageAttachSize : 500MB
InternalDsnMaxMessageAttachSize : 500MB
There is no limit set on the user.
Using ADSIEdit, I've been to Configuration -> Services -> Microsoft
Exchange -> (org) -> Global Settings
Then I right-clicked Message Delivery -> Properties, and set delivContLength
and submissionContLength to 10240
What have I forgotten, since a mail with a 40MB attachment still won't pass
??
Regards
/Brian
